Lúc tới 23 tháng chạp, nụ mai chưa nở bung vỏ chấu, vỏ lụa. Gặp khi trời đang nắng gắt ví như thình lình có mưa thì mai nở sớm.Từ ấy ta thấy rằng mai nở trễ, ta đem phơi nắng và tuới nước vào giữa trưa, không tưới vào sáng sớm cũng như chiều tối. Giả dụ vỏ lụa chưa nở bung, ta nên tuới nước hot 40 độ C hoặc lép thuốc Methyl Parathion hay Malathion, cũng có thể đốt bóng đèn tròn trong ban đêm. Như vậy mai có thể nở đúng vào ngày tết.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"> </p> <h3 dir="ltr" style="font-weight: normal; line-height: 1.2;"> <span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(67, 67, 67); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">4) Làm thế nào để hãm mai nở trễ?</span></h3> <p dir="ltr"> <span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">Chưa đến 23 tháng Chạp mà hoa mai đã nở bung vỏ lụa tức nó nở sớm. Ta nên chuyển các cây vào chỗ mát hoặc lấy vải đen chùm cây Mai lại và tưới nước vào lúc chiều tối để làm lạnh cây mai. Có thể pha thêm Urê với nồng độ 1gram/lít để thúc đẩy cho cây ra lá. Không để cây mai đứng trước quạt điện làm cây mai khô héo không nở hoa được. Ví như bác bỏ mai trong bình hoa, phải cưa cắt mai vào buổi sáng, thui gốc mai để giữ nhựa. Muốn mai lâu tàn nên bỏ vào lọ hoa đang bác một viên Aspirine, cũng có thể thay nước phổ quát lần.</span></p> <p> </p></div><br/></div>
